Steve Dawson

Steve Dawson

CEO and Founder

Steve has 25 years of experience in a variety of roles including project implementation and business development. He relocated to Singapore in 2012 where he was tasked with establishing the Asia Pacific operations of a technology company as the first employee in the region. After experiencing the difficulties of this process, Steve founded Asia Market Entry in 2016 with the goal of creating a company focused on helping international technology companies establish a presence in the Asia Pacific region without having to set up locally themselves.

Anthony Howe

Anthony Howe

Commercial Director

Anthony, based in Singapore, brings 20 years of experience as a business designer, software engineer, and entrepreneur. He excels in service design, digital product development, e-commerce, and occupational health. Previously, he served as a design and program lead for APAC partner platforms in the multi-billion dollar fintech industry, and was a co-founder of a global leader in mobile marketing apps acquired by Microsoft in Australia and later Merkle (Dentsu) in the US.

Jing Wen Puah

Senior Business Development Advisor

Jing Wen co-founded education start-up Reactor for 7 years where she led sales, business development, and successfully expanded to Southeast Asia markets. She closed the seed investment round for the start-up and went on to work on Regional Partnerships at YouTube (Google) and Shopee before joining AME in 2022 to help Enterprise Software firms grow in Asia through channel partnerships and government relations.

Lucinda is a B2B marketer based in Singapore, helping technology clients expand to Asia and grow their businesses. Prior to her current role with AME, she worked on digital and creative marketing for iconic brands and managed international student recruitment at the University of Melbourne. With a Master's in International Trade & Diplomacy and a Bachelor of Arts in Political History, Lucinda is passionate about helping tech businesses seize opportunities in Southeast Asia.

Grace helps international software firms boost sales and presence in Southeast Asia. With a background in Commerce and experience in program management at Deutsche Bank and PwC, she arrived in Singapore in 2020 to help Irish cyber security companies expand in Southeast Asia for Enterprise Ireland. Currently at Asia Market Entry, Grace enjoys finding opportunities for international software companies in Southeast Asia.

He has a diverse skill set, including multinational collaboration, go-to-market planning and execution, channel program development and execution, solution sales, and customer success, with experience in Asia, Europe, and North America.

Business Development - Taiwan

Simon is based in Taipei, Taiwan and can speak fluent English and Mandarin. Simon has more than 10 years business development, sales operations & management experience in the life science industry. Previous to joining Asia Market Entry, Simon helped a range of businesses to expand their operations in China, Taiwan, Hongkong, Singapore, and Malaysia. In the past 7 years, he has mainly focused on software businesses in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, including R&D, Quality and Manufacturing sectors.

Gabe Rijpma

Gabe has been extremely passionate about health and technology for more than 20 years. Based in Christchurch, New Zealand, Gabe was previously Senior Director of Health & Social Services for Asia at Microsoft. In this role his responsibilities included leading and defining the solution offerings and strategy for meeting the needs of healthcare consumers across Australia, New Zealand, South East Asia, India, Greater China and Japan. Before this role Gabe spent 4 years as the Healthcare Industry Director for Microsoft Asia Pacific.
