Missions and cohorts that end in commercial outcomes

Trade agencies and accelerators are measured on what happens after the visit: the MOUs signed, the pilots started and the revenue that follows. That depends on bringing the right companies and putting them in front of the right people. We use market signals to find the companies ready for the region, and fill their diaries with buyers, partners and stakeholders worth meeting.

OUR NETWORK

Illustrative, not client data. Every line is a signal we can collect: from a public source, from data we license, or from our network.

Who we work with

The programmes we work with

Organisations that bring groups of companies to Asia and are measured on what those companies achieve.

How we find them

The right companies show they are ready. So do the right buyers.

Every approach we make on your behalf starts with a reason it is relevant now, found in the signals of your industry, then a route in through our network where one exists.

Who is ready

Companies in your market whose hiring, customers and funding say they are ready for Asia, so the programme recruits the right ones.

Who wants to meet them

Buyers, corporates and partners in the region whose situation makes them likely to take the meeting now.

What is moving

Innovation calls, pilot programmes, tenders and trade agreements with dates attached.

Who we already know

Key opinion leaders, industry associations, government stakeholders and the partners we have worked with since 2015.

PUBLIC

Public sources

Company registries and filings, hiring and appointments, innovation calls and tenders, trade agreements, expansion and investment news.

LICENSED

Data we license

Firmographic, funding and technology data, and customer and deal data where it is available.

OUR NETWORK

Our network

Trade agencies and chambers, industry associations, corporate innovation teams, key opinion leaders and our partners across Asia.

What is available varies by market and by licence, so The Workshop settles what can be found for you before any outreach begins. Every approach is agreed with you first.

Visits and events

Bringing a delegation to a festival or trade show?

Tell us the sector and the dates. We find the companies that fit, identify who will be there and who should be, and book the meetings before anyone lands. Site visits, roundtables and dinners, with the right people in the room.

What you are measured on

Outcomes you can report upward

A programme is judged on what it produces. We plan the recruiting and the matching around these from the start.

Frequently asked

Asked by trade agencies and accelerators

Can you help recruit the right companies onto a mission?

Yes. We use market signals, such as hiring for Asia, customers already in the region and recent funding, to find companies that are ready, and help you approach them. A mission of well-prepared companies produces more outcomes than a full one.

What is signal-driven business matching?

What agencies call business matching or B2B matchmaking, done from signals. Each company is matched with buyers, partners and stakeholders because both sides have a reason to meet now: a need, a signal or a shared customer. It is the difference between a full diary and meetings that lead to MOUs, pilots and sales.

Do you work with accelerators as well as trade agencies?

Yes. Both are measured in much the same way: commercial outcomes, pilots, MOUs and how the cohort rates the experience. The work is the same, scoped to each cohort.

How does a programme run, and what does it cost?

That is on our group programmes page: what a programme includes, how it runs from the first workshop to follow-up, and how it is priced.

Tell us who you are bringing

The sector, the dates and what you need to report at the end. In fifteen minutes you will hear where we would start.
